By accessing or using Handled ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service. These Terms apply to all users, including firm administrators, advisors, and portal clients.
Handled is a B2B platform for financial advisory firms that provides AI-powered tools to help advisors serve their clients more effectively. Our Service includes:
IMPORTANT: Handled is a technology platform — not a financial advisor, investment advisor, tax advisor, or legal advisor. The AI-generated insights, gap analyses, and recommendations provided through our Service are tools to assist licensed financial professionals in their practice.
Advisors using Handled are responsible for independently verifying all AI-generated outputs and exercising their own professional judgment before acting on any information. Handled does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content.
Portal clients should rely on their financial advisor — not on the Handled platform directly — for financial guidance and decisions.
Access to Handled is organized by firm. Firm administrators agree to:
Individual advisors must maintain the security of their account credentials and notify their firm administrator immediately of any unauthorized access.
Portal clients are granted access by their financial advisor's firm. Portal clients can view their financial profile, upload documents, and respond to document requests. Portal access is governed by the relationship between the client and their advisory firm.
Handled offers tiered subscription plans for advisory firms. By subscribing, firm administrators agree to:
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Refunds are provided at our discretion and in accordance with applicable law. Plan changes take effect at the next billing cycle.
Firms and their clients retain ownership of all data and documents uploaded to the Service. By using the Service, firms grant us a limited license to process, analyze, and store content solely to provide the Service.
Firms represent that they have the right to upload client documents and that doing so does not violate any laws, regulations, or client agreements. Firms are responsible for obtaining appropriate client consent.

The Service, including its design, features, AI models, and proprietary content (excluding user content), is owned by Handled and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our materials without permission.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. AI-GENERATED OUTPUTS MAY CONTAIN ERRORS AND SHOULD BE INDEPENDENTLY VERIFIED BY QUALIFIED PROFESSIONALS BEFORE USE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HANDLED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, OR CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, INCLUDING DAMAGES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOUR FIRM PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Firms agree to indemnify and hold harmless Handled and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from: (a) use of the Service, (b) violation of these Terms, (c) reliance on AI-generated outputs without independent professional verification, or (d) failure to obtain appropriate client consent.
We may suspend or terminate a firm's account for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Firm administrators may cancel their subscription at any time through account settings. Upon termination, firms may request a data export within 30 days.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify firm administrators of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, except that either party may bring claims in courts of competent jurisdiction for injunctive relief.
